Issues statuses sometimes come back incorrect
We do restore Issues and their status, however at this time we can only set the status to be either the first or second status according to its transition rules. Due to the complexity of restoring issues statuses in conjunction with transition rules through the API, Rewind will not set the status beyond the first two possible states. In the future, we intend to support cases of 3+ possible statuses.
Do you support Jira Service Management?
Yes! We support backups for the following Jira Service Management resources:
- Service Desks (as Projects)
- Service Desk Queues
- Tickets (as Issues)
- Requests
- Request types
- Request type Groups
- Organizations
Do you support Jira Product Discovery?
While we do not officially support backups or restores for Jira Product Discovery, today we do backup JPD Projects and Issues, but no JPD-specific resources. We are working on adding support for this product in the future.
Do you support Jira Work Management?
Yes! We support backups for Jira Work Management Projects, Issues, and Boards.
My issue attachments failed to restore
Usually, this is an issue of the attachment not being fully deleted from Jira or the attachment still saving to Rewind storage. We are working to prevent this issue on our end. If you do find that an attachment is not being restored and you had tried to do the restore soon after you backed up Jira, we recommend waiting 30 minutes and re-attempting the restore to see if your attachments are restored properly.
