Rewind now supports the ability to restore data from your Rewind Backups for Jira to a new destination instance. This can be helpful for you in these scenarios:
- Staging Data: Setup, test restored data in a test or sandbox instance
- Seeding Data: Do a one-time or routine copy of your production instance in a sandbox instance
- Disaster Recovery: If the production instance becomes unavailable for any reason, quickly initiate a new instance with backup data
- Fulfil Audit Requirements: Meet audit requirements by restoring a point-in-time version of your Jira instance to a new instance to demonstrate data quality and accuracy of your backups
