SSH key in your GitHub account and activation of the clone feature.
Our service works with GitHub OAuth and is dependent on the GitHub API. You can check the GitHub API status here.
If GitHub is not available, you cannot login to the Rewind Backups for GitHub app (BackHub). However, if you have an SSH key added to your GitHub account and you have activated the “Clone” feature in your user settings, you can clone your repositories directly from BackHub servers using the following clone URL scheme firstname.lastname@example.org:username/repositoryname.
We also recommend connecting an Amazon S3 bucket or Azure storage to your account to sync backups. When you have an Amazon S3 bucket connected, you are not dependent on GitHub and/or BackHub and can access your data anytime.
If you have an enterprise plan, you can also contact us to perform a disaster recovery of your data.
