Does Rewind offer the ability to restore my Klaviyo data in case it gets deleted?
In the event of data loss, some of your data may be able to be restored by Rewind. To request a restore, reach out to us by emailing help@rewind.com. Please make sure to include as much detail about your restore request as possible, including:
- The reason for the restore request
- The exact resources you would like us to restore (e.g. everything or a specific profile)
- The date and time you would to restore those resources to
Once we have gathered the required information for the restore, we will provide you with an estimate for how long the restore might take, and what to expect during and after the restore.
Are there limitations to what Rewind can restore in my Klaviyo account?
Due to restrictions with the Klaviyo API, not everything in your account is able to be restored. For a full list of what can and can’t be restored, click here.
Profile Restores:
Note that when a profile is restored, it is essentially recreated in your Klaviyo account. This means that if the profile had subscribed using the double opt-in method, they will receive the double opt-in email again and be prompted to confirm their subscription to any lists they have previously opted into. Campaign restores:
Due to a limitation with the Klaviyo API, a campaign restore is currently not possible if an account has 1,000 templates or more.
How long will the restore take?
Every restore is different, so timeframes will vary depending on the amount of data being restored.
