You can restore a specific board, item, or sub-item in your monday.com account using Rewind’s item restore feature. This is helpful when you need to recover or revert a particular change without affecting the rest of your data. This article walks you through the steps to complete an item-level restore using Rewind.
Note:
You must wait until your initial backup is complete before you can perform
a
restore.
To complete an item-level restore in monday.com:
- Click Filters on the right hand side to open the filters menu.
- Check the filter box beside the type of data you would like to restore, then click Apply.
- Find the board, item, or sub-item you want to restore and click the View Versions button on the right-hand side.
- Click the Select Version dropdown and choose the version you want to restore.
- Click Restore to this Version.
- In the confirmation modal, click Yes, restore.
- The restore will begin. You’ll receive an email notification when the process is complete.
- Once complete, review the restored information in your monday.com account.
Additional Information
- You can only restore one board or item at a time when using this process.
- Completing a single-item restore does not delete any unrelated boards or items.
