This article explains how to cancel your Rewind subscription for each integration, including Azure DevOps, BigCommerce, Bitbucket, Confluence, GitHub, Jira, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Miro, monday.com, QuickBooks Online, Shopify, and Trello. Depending on the integration, you cancel in Rewind, in the integration or its marketplace, or with help from support.
Before you begin
Before starting, confirm the following:
- You have permission to cancel. In Rewind, this requires the Organization Owner or Organization Admin role (see User roles and permissions in Rewind). If you cancel in your integration or its marketplace, you also need permission to uninstall apps there.
- If you back up more than one store, instance, or account, you know which ones you want to cancel. Each one is cancelled separately. If several share one subscription, cancelling the primary one cancels all of them.
Before you cancel
- When you cancel in Rewind or by uninstalling Rewind, your subscription ends immediately. Your backups stop right away, and you can no longer browse, restore, or download your backups in Rewind.
- If you pay through the Atlassian Marketplace or GitHub Marketplace, your subscription may stay active until the end of your billing period.
- Your backed-up data is fully deleted about 90 days after your subscription ends. If you resubscribe before then, your backup history is kept. For details, see the Data Retention and Disposal of Customer Data policy →.

BigCommerce
Your subscription is cancelled when you uninstall Rewind in BigCommerce.
- In your BigCommerce store, go to Apps in the left sidebar.
- Click My Apps.
- Under Rewind, click Uninstall.
You can also start from Rewind. It opens your BigCommerce My Apps page so you can finish uninstalling:
- Log in to your Rewind account at app.rewind.com.
- In the left sidebar, click Account settings.
- Select the Billing & subscriptions tab.
- Select BigCommerce, then select your store.
- Click the menu (⋮) next to Manage subscription, then select Unsubscribe.
- Complete the form, then click Continue to uninstall twice. Your BigCommerce My Apps page opens in a new tab.
- Under Rewind, click Uninstall.
Bitbucket, Confluence, GitHub, Jira, monday.com, and Shopify
For these integrations, you cancel in the integration or its marketplace, or with help from support.
- Bitbucket: Contact help@rewind.com to cancel.
- Confluence and Jira, including Jira Service Management: Cancel your subscription, then uninstall the Rewind app. For steps, see Manage your apps →. Atlassian may keep your subscription active until the end of your billing period, which can delay uninstalling. If this happens, see Can't uninstall after cancellation → or contact Atlassian Support.
- GitHub: If you pay through GitHub Marketplace, cancel your plan there. For steps, see Canceling a GitHub Marketplace app →. GitHub keeps your plan active until the end of your billing cycle. Then uninstall the Rewind Backups for GitHub app from your GitHub settings. If you have no other Rewind Backups for GitHub installations, revoke the app's access in your GitHub authorized apps settings →. If Rewind bills you, contact help@rewind.com to cancel.
- monday.com: A monday.com account admin uninstalls Rewind Backups for monday.com from the account's apps. For steps, see How to manage apps on your account →.
- Shopify: In your Shopify admin, uninstall Rewind Backups for Shopify. For steps, see Uninstalling apps →. If you have Protection Suite, uninstalling Rewind Backups for Shopify cancels it too.
Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Miro, and Trello
- Log in to your Rewind account at app.rewind.com.
- In the left sidebar, click Integrations.
- Select your integration, then select your account.
- Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner, then click Unsubscribe.
- Complete the form, then click Continue to uninstall. For Mailchimp and Miro, click Continue.
- Click Yes, Uninstall.
QuickBooks Online
You cancel QuickBooks Online one company file at a time. If your files share one subscription, removing the primary file cancels the subscription for all of them.
- Log in to your Rewind account at app.rewind.com.
- In the left sidebar, click Integrations.
- Select QuickBooks Online, then select the company file you want to remove.
- Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner, then click Unsubscribe.
- Complete the form, then click Continue to uninstall.
- Click Yes, Uninstall.
To remove several company files at once, support can remove them for you. For details, see Cancel with help from support.
