How does it work?
Depending on the integration, there are different methods available for export:
Downloading Individual Snapshot for Bitbucket
- To download select individual snapshots in Bitbucket, please see this article.
Downloading GitHub backup content from Rewind Backups for GitHub
- To download your GitHub backup content, Administrators can click the EXPORT button in your vault. You will have the ability to export your entire repository data set, or selected repositories. You will be re-authenticated, and your data will be packaged and an email sent when the download is ready.
Vault Exports for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Mailchimp and Klaviyo
- Rewind allows you to download an archive of the latest version of all items backed up in your Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or Klaviyo vaults. For details, see this article.
Exports for other Integrations (Shopify, QuickBooks Online, and BigCommerce)
- For these integrations, we do not currently offer data exports as part of our regular service. However, as an additional service, we can export your most recent backup data as a JSON file. We do not offer an export in a CSV format. Note: This service is only available to customers who have been active Rewind customers for a minimum of 6 months.
If you're interested in having a local JSON copy, we can provide this service upon request. Simply contact our Support team (help@rewind.com) and let us know you're interested in a JSON data export.
Please note: You will have two days to open this email and access the file before the link is no longer valid.
Please note: We do not offer re-import services for JSON files. To import a JSON-formatted backup file into a new account, we recommend sourcing a developer familiar with JSON file formats.
