At Rewind, we’re committed to delivering secure, reliable backups and recovery tools that protect your business data. Over the years, we’ve continued to invest in innovation and expand our platform to provide even more value without adjusting our prices. To keep pace with these investments and the rising costs of maintaining and improving our services, we’ll be updating our pricing effective October 27, 2025.

Annual customers (billed via Shopify or Stripe):
Our Account Management team will reach out directly as your renewal approaches to discuss the updated pricing.
Why we’re making this change
We’ve held our pricing steady for many years, while continuously releasing new features and improving performance. This update ensures we can continue to:
- Deliver new features and enhancements
- Further invest in infrastructure, performance, and security
- Provide reliable data protection for every customer
It also reflects changes in the broader ecosystem. Shopify themselves recently increased subscription prices, so this update keeps our pricing in line with the market.
Here are some of the value improvements included in your plan:
- Expanded coverage for Shopify (metafields, translations, metaobjects, etc.)
- Included backups for platforms like Klaviyo and Mailchimp
- Enterprise-grade security and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, end-to-end encryption with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit, role-based access controls, comprehensive audit log)
Frequently asked questions
Why is my price increasing?
We’ve made significant investments in reliability, security, and backup/restore coverage. The updated pricing reflects this added value and aligns closer to what new customers pay.
What new value am I getting?
Your plan includes expanded coverage (metafields, translations, and metaobjects (coming soon)), improved performance, enterprise-grade security, and additional integrations like Klaviyo and Mailchimp.
Will my backups or coverage change?
No, your protection level and included features remain the same. We’re also continuing to expand coverage: for example, support for Shopify metaobjects is coming soon to most plans.
Why don’t I see some of the features you’ve listed?
Some of our upcoming features, like Shopify metaobjects, will be available only on current plans or plans experiencing a price increase. If you’re on a legacy plan, you may need to upgrade to access them once they’re released. Our team can help you review the best options for your store.
Does this price change affect Protection Suite customers?
If you’re subscribed to Protection Suite, your plan will follow the same pricing update as described above. You’ll continue to receive all the features of Rewind Backups for Shopify, plus the added value of Protection Suite’s advanced monitoring and alerts.
I’m on an annual plan — how does this affect me?
If you’re billed annually, there’s no immediate change to your current subscription. Your Account Manager will contact you directly as your renewal approaches to discuss the updated pricing. Until then, your plan and billing remain the same.
How do I see the breakdown of charges?
For Shopify monthly billed customers, your base subscription will appear as usual on your invoice, and the adjustment will show as a usage fee. For a detailed breakdown, download the CSV from your Shopify Admin—your plan adjustment will be labeled: “Rewind Plan Adjustment — $[total]/month.”
I used to have High Priority Support on my plan. What happens now?
Some older plans included a feature called High Priority Support. With the pricing update, support is standardized across all plans. If you’d like the benefits of faster response times and white-glove assistance, we now offer Premium Support as an add-on available to any plan. To learn more, please contact our team.
What if I want to cancel?
You can cancel anytime in your Shopify Admin or by contacting our Support team. Just remember: Shopify doesn’t automatically back up your store, without Rewind, recovery is manual, costly, and time-consuming.
